Exceed™ 1018 are ethylene 1-hexene copolymer resins. Flms made from Exceed™1018 resins have outstanding tensile impact strength andpuncture. These superior strength properties,along with excellent drawabilty, allow downgauging in bagapplicatiors. InPP is not intentionallyadded to Exceed™1018 resirs.

Performance characteristics

High durability:

Excellent tensile strength: The longitudinal and transverse tensile strength of the film is high, such as the longitudinal tensile strength of ExxonMobil™ C4LL 1018.XBT is 46MPa and the transverse tensile strength is 28MPa.

This allows it to withstand greater tension during use and is not easy to break, making it suitable for packaging occasions with high strength requirements, such as heavy-duty packaging bags, industrial packaging, etc.

Good puncture resistance: This series of films has good puncture resistance, such as ExxonMobil™ C4LL 1018.XBT has a puncture force of 29N and a puncture energy of 1.5J.

It can effectively resist puncture from sharp objects and protect the items in the package from damage. It can be used to package products with sharp edges or products used in rough environments.

Excellent tear strength: Its Elmendorf tear strength is good, such as ExxonMobil™ C4LL 1018.XBT's Elmendorf tear strength is 90g in the longitudinal direction and 450g in the transverse direction.

This means that the film has a higher resistance when subjected to tearing force, reducing the risk of packaging failure due to accidental tearing, and increasing the safety of the product during storage and transportation.

Flexibility:

High elongation: The film has a high elongation at break, ExxonMobil™ C4LL 1018.XBT's elongation at break is 520% ​​in the longitudinal direction and 690% in the transverse direction.

This allows the film to deform to a large extent without breaking when stretched, has good flexibility and elasticity, can adapt to the packaging of various shapes of items, and can be easily stretched and wrapped during the packaging process.

Soft touch: 1018 series LLDPE film has a soft texture, which is not only easy to operate during use, but also gives people a good feel. It is suitable for some packaging that requires touch, such as food packaging, daily necessities packaging, etc.
